When Santi was 15 years old, he had no friends, had dropped out of school, and had not left his home for three months.

15 years later, Santi is a lead developer at the world's largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, and lives in New York City.

When talking to his Mom about the resources available to her when he was struggling, he realized that she had no access to solid role models who understood him. Instead he was sent through a revolving door of therapists and psychiatrists, who tried to help, but didn't understand him.

Santi started Harbor Mentors to fix that gap: to give troubled boys the opportunity to meet Mentors who have been through the same issues, but came out the other side strong.
